About Us

The Anchorage Bahá'í Youth Workshop is a group of youth from the age of fifteen to twenty, younger youth are also invited to participate in the workshop. There is a combination of Bahá'ís and non-Bahá'ís in the workshop. These youth use the arts: drama, songs, dancing, etc. to spread the message of the Bahá'í Faith. Some of the messages that they spread are about the equality of men and women (the equality dance). The effects of drug and alcohol on the human body (the drug dance), how racism and hatred can tear families or friends apart (the racism dance and the hatred dance).
